AWS Browser Client

Python connector for an HMAC-signed remote Selenium gateway.

Install

Install from PyPI:

python -m pip install aws-browser-client

For local development, install this source directory:

python -m pip install .

Use

from aws_webdriver import connect

driver = connect(
    os.environ["AWS_BROWSER_BASE_URL"],
    os.environ["AWS_BROWSER_API_KEY"],
    os.environ["AWS_BROWSER_SESSION_ID"],
)

try:
    driver.get("https://app.notion.com")
finally:
    driver.quit()

Recommended .env values:

AWS_BROWSER_BASE_URL=https://browser.example.com
AWS_BROWSER_API_KEY=replace-with-generated-key
AWS_BROWSER_SESSION_ID=replace-with-session-id

Never commit API keys or session IDs to source control.
