bdix-stremio-addon

A Stremio addon for BDIX stream sites, with a web UI to choose which sources are included. Python 3.8+, standard library only.

Install

Run it without installing anything:

uvx bdix-stremio-addon           # or: pipx run bdix-stremio-addon

Or install it:

pipx install bdix-stremio-addon     # then run:  bdix
pip install bdix-stremio-addon      # then run:  python -m bdix

Then open http://127.0.0.1:7000/, pick your sources and drag them into the order you want, and install the addon into Stremio from that page.

The order is the priority: top of the list is tried first, and Stremio lists one source's streams after another's in it, best quality first within each source.

Android app

The same addon as an app, so it runs on a phone or a TV box with no terminal and no tunnel. Android 7.0 or newer. It installs the addon from PyPI on first launch and keeps it updated from there, in the SERVER tab.

Use it from a TV or phone

The addon listens on 127.0.0.1, which only reaches Stremio running on the same machine. To use it elsewhere, expose the port with a tunnel:

ngrok http 7000
# or
cloudflared tunnel --url http://127.0.0.1:7000

Either one prints a public https://… address. Add /manifest.json to that address and install it in Stremio → Addons → Install from URL.
