This release has been yanked by its maintainers, and will be ignored by installers, except when explicitly specified.
Consider using release 0.1.5 instead.
Reason given by maintainers: Multi-platform hardware acceleration for Apple Silicon Metal GPU, NVIDIA CUDA, AMD ROCm, TPU, and multi-core CPU
Berry CLI
Berry CLI™ is an enterprise-grade autonomous developer agent and execution runtime engineered by Cognitus Lab. Designed for deep code intelligence, automated debugging, and terminal operations, Berry is built on a compiled, high-performance native Rust core (axim_core) and a hardened C-native agentic execution engine.
⚠️ Proprietary Notice & License Terms
Berry CLI™ is 100% Cognitus Lab Property. This software is licensed for execution only under the terms of the Cognitus Lab Proprietary End User License Agreement (EULA).
- Execution-Only License: Conditioned upon compliance with the EULA, users are licensed to download and run compiled packages for personal and development workflows.
- Strict Restrictions: Resale, sublicensing, unauthorized mirroring, commercial redistribution, and decompilation/reverse-engineering are strictly prohibited.
- See the full LICENSE for legal terms.
Key Features
- ⚡ Native Rust Execution Core: Built with a compiled, symbol-stripped Rust runtime managing high-speed shell execution, background task pipelines, file operations, and process sandboxing.
- 🛡️ Security Governor: Enforces strict path containment, command allowlists, secret redaction, and auditable governance logs for every automated action.
- 🤖 Autonomous Agent Loop: Capable of multi-step problem solving, automated git operations, test execution, and code synthesis.
- 🧠 Crash-Resilient RCR Memory: Real-time contextual recall (RCR) and episodic memory for long-running developer sessions.
- 🔒 Anti-Reverse-Engineering Architecture: Production wheels ship as stripped native machine code binaries (
.so/.pyd) with zero plaintext source code.
Installation
Install Berry CLI directly from PyPI:
pip install berry-cli
Quick Start
Once installed, the berry command is available directly in your terminal:
# View all available commands and options
berry --help
# Start an interactive agent chat session
berry chat
# Run an autonomous task in your project directory
berry run "Inspect the git status, run the test suite, and summarize failures"
Python API Integration
You can also embed Berry's execution primitives directly in your Python workflows:
from axim import Shell, Tasks, Procs, Env, Files, Sys, AximAgent
# 1. Execute a sandboxed shell command
result = Shell.run("git status --short")
print(result.stdout)
# 2. Launch an autonomous agent task
agent = AximAgent()
result = agent.run("Review recent commits and report changes")
print(result)
