RedactPDF

Local PDF redaction. Every export is audited against the rules that produced it; if targeted content survives in the output, the export is blocked and you get a structured report instead of a file.

Runs entirely on your machine: no upload, no network calls, no telemetry.

pipx install blankout
blankout

The app opens in your browser and stops a few seconds after you close the tab.

The package is called blankout because the name matching the project was already too close to an existing one on PyPI. Installing it also puts redactpdf on your PATH, the same command under the name the downloadable binary carries.
