Visual git & file diff in your browser, with AI-supported code review, GitHub & Bitbucket sync, and persistent sessions. 100% local, no cloud, no telemetry.
Install
pip install branchdiff # or
uv tool install branchdiff # or
pipx install branchdiff
The right pre-compiled binary for your OS+arch is selected automatically:
- macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel)
- Linux (x86_64 and aarch64)
- Windows (x86_64)
No Node.js required.
Use
branchdiff main feature-branch
Opens a browser-based diff viewer. See branchdiff --help for options.
