A lightweight, extensible collection of CLI utilities 🚀

Features are opt-in. Nothing is created until you need it.

Plugins

Install plugins from any GitHub repo, isolated in a shared Python venv.

byk add user/repo            # install default plugin
byk add user/repo/key        # install a specific plugin
byk run-plugin-command       # run it

byk show plugins             # list installed plugins
byk remove <key>             # uninstall

npm commands

Manage npm CLIs under a byk-scoped environment — no global pollution.

byk add npm           # first use only, activates & creates ni/nu aliases
byk ni live-server     # install (ni = npm i)
byk live-server        # run it

Aliases

Give long commands short names.

Installation

pip install byk

Or via shell script (no Python needed):
