calc-rust
The command-line front end for calc_rs —
a strongly typed, spreadsheet-style expression engine (currency, tonnage,
percentages, dates, durations, and tables as first-class types).
This package ships only the compiled calc_rs binary, so you can install
it without a Rust toolchain:
uv tool install calc-rust # then run: calc_rs
uvx --from calc-rust calc_rs '$5.00 * 3'
pipx install calc-rust
calc_rs— start the REPL (syntax-highlighted input, rounded-border tables)calc_rs '<expr>'— evaluate oncecalc_rs --bare '<expr>'— value only, for scripts
For the Python library (import calc_rs), install calc-rs-lang instead.
