TechArena Career Survival Agent — challenge dataset
career-emulator-techarena is the English dev validation dataset (events and rules). Install the engine separately as career-emulator-engine.
Install (dataset only)
pip install career-emulator-techarena
Install (engine + dataset + MCP, recommended for players)
pip install "career-emulator-engine[mcp]"
Load the packaged dataset in distribution mode:
career-emulator-engine update --source distribution --split dev
Maintain English data (maintainers)
Canonical source: sources/en/**/*.json in this repo (not PyPI, not TomatoEmuData-Test at runtime).
# One-time or refresh from TomatoEmuData-Test (optional)
make sync-sources
# Edit JSON under sources/en/, then rebuild binary .data
make convert
# Gate before release (must pass for PyPI publish)
make check-english
Dev split file list = existing career_emulator_techarena/dev/dataset/**/*.data paths. Each path needs a matching JSON under sources/en/. There is no fallback to Chinese action_pool paths.
See sources/en/README.md for translation batch checklist. CI workflow English dataset gate runs convert + check-english on push/PR.
