cascadeaihub

Scaffold a new cascadeaihub/dev_kit-generated pyqt or jinja frontend project via your own API key -- no local dev_kit install, git personal access token, or registry checkout required.

Python CLI equivalent of create-cascadeaihub-app (the Next.js npm package), for the two frameworks that npm package doesn't cover.

Usage

pip install cascadeaihub

cascadeaihub create-app my-app --framework jinja --api-key <your-api-key> --modules core,notes
cascadeaihub create-app my-app --framework pyqt  --api-key <your-api-key> --modules core,notes

Requirements

Python >=3.10. Dependencies for the generated project install automatically via its own requirements.txt (pip install -r requirements.txt, run for you unless --skip-install is passed).

How this differs from create-cascadeaihub-app

create-cascadeaihub-app (npm) scaffolds Next.js projects by running pnpm create next-app first, then overlaying the fetched manifest. Neither pyqt nor jinja has an equivalent external "create a blank project" tool to run first -- build_pyqt_manifest/build_jinja_manifest are fully self-contained (jinja's self_contained=True mode ships its own vendored ui_loader.py and ejected template/static content specifically so it never needs dev_kit importable at runtime -- dev_kit itself is installable only via a private, PAT-gated GitHub URL, not something a customer has access to). So there's no scaffold step here, only fetch + write + install.
