cele

cele is a short installation and import name for CelestialCalendar, an astronomy and Chinese calendar library. It installs the exact same version of celestial-calendar and forwards its public top-level Python API.

python -m pip install cele
import cele as astro

lunar = astro.gregorian_to_lunar(astro.LunarAlgorithm.ALGO2, astro.GregorianDate(2024, 2, 10))
print(lunar)

The functions, types and exceptions are the original celestial_calendar objects. You can install cele, wentian and celestial-calendar together at the same version. Use celestial_calendar for submodule imports.

See the Python guide for supported platforms, examples and API details. This alias adds no native implementation and has the same platform requirements as its dependency.
