ChengFeng (乘风) - 3D Drone Flight Demo
A minimal 3D drone flight simulation built with the Ursina engine. Fly a quadcopter over a green landscape with drifting clouds, hills, and a grid ground reference.
Features
- 3D quadcopter model with spinning propellers and landing skids
- Drifting volumetric clouds
- Textured ground with grid lines and decorative hills
- Directional sunlight with shadows
- Smooth camera follow
- Real-time HUD: altitude, speed, position, FPS
Requirements
- Python 3.10+
- OpenGL-capable display
Installation
pip install chengfeng
Usage
chengfeng
# or
python -m chengfeng
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| W / S | Throttle up / down (ascend / descend) |
| A / D | Strafe left / right |
| Up / Down Arrow | Pitch forward / back |
| Left / Right Arrow | Yaw left / right |
| Space | Boost (2.5x speed) |
| R | Reset position |
| ESC | Quit |
