Claudia

Claudia is a command-line tool that uses DeepSeek's language models to implement code changes in your git repository based on natural language task descriptions.

1. Install

pip install claudia-agent

2. Configure

export DEEPSEEK_API_KEY=your_key_here

3. Use

claudia
claudia agent # for a "classic" agent experience

Why?

• The agent alters the filesystem via reviewable patch files, no direct FS access
• The default mode is non-agentic, optimized for coding task
• The agent mode runs inside a docker container
• Less noisy than other agents
• The most simple UX imaginable
• About two orders of magnitude cheaper than claude (With DeepSeek's model)

Requirements

• Python 3.10+
• A DeepSeek API key (DEEPSEEK_API_KEY environment variable)
• Git
• Universal Ctags (for project analysis)
