Overview
The clmt_res Python package supports
- downloading model outputs from CDS using
earthkit - computing yearly extremes and sliding-window statistics
- estimating characteristic values
- computing factors of change for climate variables
- extracting location-specific results and exporting CSV outputs
Installation
pip install clmt-res
Features
- End-to-end workflow from model download to processed indicators
- Support for temperature, precipitation, and wind variables
- Geographic helpers (reverse geocoding and map visualization)
- Utilities for temporal aggregation and return-level estimation
Notes
- Supported domain is Europe only.
coordinate_checkraises aValueErrorfor coordinates outside the supported region.
