Install
pip install codexforge
Or from source:
cd codex-cli
pip install -e .
Quick Start
codexforge
First-time setup
Cloud (OpenRouter / OpenAI)
/key sk-or-v1-...
/model qwen/qwen3-coder
Local (Ollama)
/endpoint http://localhost:11434/v1
/model qwen2.5-coder:14b
LM Studio
/endpoint http://localhost:1234/v1
/model your-model-name
Config JSON
All settings are stored in a single JSON file:
~/.codex/config.json
You can override the directory with the environment variable:
export CODEX_HOME=/path/to/custom/dir
