copier-python

Copier template for Python projects with modern tooling

Quick start

Install required software:

mise-en-place: curl https://mise.run | sh or alternate installation method
Copier: mise use -g copier or uv tool install copier

Create a new project from the template:

copier copy "gh:smkent/copier-python" /new/project/path
