Cybersecure Easy 0.4.0

1,400+ Filetypes across 10 security verbs, all using the same easy-to-remember keyword style:

Cybersecure.Extract(Filetype="Html", Target="https://example.com", Variable="links")
Cybersecure.Hash   (Filetype="Sha256", Target="file.bin")
Cybersecure.Encrypt(Filetype="AesGcm", Target="secret", Password="long passphrase")
Cybersecure.Validate(Filetype="IbanDE", Target="DE89370400440532013000")
Cybersecure.Generate(Filetype="Password32")
Cybersecure.Encode  (Filetype="Rot13", Target="hello")
Cybersecure.Sanitize(Filetype="Sql", Target="'; DROP TABLE users; --")

Every verb uses the same trio of keywords — Filetype=, Target=, Variable= — so you only memorize one pattern. Requires Python 3.10+.

What's new in 0.4.0

  • 1,400+ Filetypes (up from ~50 in v0.3.0) via data-driven registries.
  • New FileTypeCount() method to get the total at runtime.
  • More hashes: 125 algorithms (all hashlib + HMAC + PBKDF2 + double-hash
    • BLAKE2 with explicit digest sizes + SHAKE with explicit lengths + 16 CRC variants + Fletcher checksums + Keccak + legacy algorithms).
  • More validators: 556 validators including IBAN for 90+ countries, postal codes for 100+ countries, phone formats for 100+ countries, VAT for 30+ countries, 15 credit card networks, national ID formats, crypto addresses, API key formats, and more.
  • More generators: 189 generators including password variants, UUID v1-v8, NanoId variants, ULID, Snowflake, BIP39 mnemonics (5 word counts × 9 language variants), RSA/EC key generation, crypto address generation, random data in multiple bases, colors, names, timestamps, and more.
  • More encoders/decoders: 103 encodings including Base16/32/45/58/62/64/85, ROT1-ROT25, ROT47, Atbash, Morse, case styles, Punycode, IDNA, compression codecs, and more.
  • More extract formats: 58 file formats including TOML, INI, Env, Markdown, LaTeX, BibTeX, RIS, Pickle, MsgPack, BSON, Parquet, Excel, Word, PDF, EML, Mbox, ICS, vCard, GeoJSON, KML, GPX, FASTA, GenBank, PDB, MOL, SDF, Apache/Nginx/Syslog logs, CEF, and more.
  • More scan types: 86 scan types including 50+ per-secret-type scans, 20 port-range presets, 8 dependency-ecosystem audits, and vuln scanners.
  • More sanitizers: 46 sanitization contexts including HTML, SQL, Shell, Path, JavaScript, XML, JSON, YAML, Markdown, LaTeX, LDAP/XPath/NoSQL/ log injection, SSRF, CSRF, open redirect, and more.
  • More crypto modes: 75 algorithms including AES in 11 modes (ECB/CBC/ CTR/CFB/OFB/GCM/CCM/SIV/EAX/OCB/GCM-SIV) × 3 key sizes, Fernet, ChaCha20, Salsa20, and more.
  • 100% backward compatible — all v0.2.0 and v0.3.0 helpers still work.

Install

python -m pip install cybersecure-easy

Quick start

from cybersecure import Cybersecure, Yes

# Discover all supported filetypes
print(f"Total filetypes: {Cybersecure.FileTypeCount()}")
for verb, fts in Cybersecure.Filetypes().items():
    print(f"  {verb}: {len(fts)} filetypes")

# Extract from HTML
links = Cybersecure.Extract(Filetype="Html", Target="https://example.com", Variable="links")

# Hash with SHA-256
digest = Cybersecure.Hash(Filetype="Sha256", Target="file.bin")

# Encrypt with AES-GCM
blob = Cybersecure.Encrypt(Filetype="AesGcm", Target="secret", Password="long passphrase")
plain = Cybersecure.Decrypt(Filetype="AesGcm", Target=blob, Password="long passphrase")

# Validate a German IBAN
Cybersecure.Validate(Filetype="IbanDE", Target="DE89370400440532013000")  # True

# Generate a 32-char password
pw = Cybersecure.Generate(Filetype="Password32")

# Encode/decode ROT13
encoded = Cybersecure.Encode(Filetype="Rot13", Target="hello")  # "uryyb"
decoded = Cybersecure.Decode(Filetype="Rot13", Target="uryyb")  # "hello"

# Sanitize SQL injection
safe = Cybersecure.Sanitize(Filetype="Sql", Target="'; DROP TABLE users; --")

Backward compatibility

All v0.2.0 and v0.3.0 helpers are still present with the same signatures, including Virtual_Frame, send_packet, scan_ports, get_page, Curl_Call, extract_links, extract_element, sha256, encrypt_text, decrypt_text, scan_file, audit, audit_dependencies, proxies, the 120 lazy package adapters, and the Yes/No readable aliases. Nothing has been removed or renamed.

Publish from Windows PowerShell

  1. Extract this archive and open the cybersecure-easy-0.4.0 folder.
  2. Check the current live version at https://pypi.org/project/cybersecure-easy/. If 0.4.0 is already taken, bump version in pyproject.toml.
  3. Open PowerShell in this folder and run:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\publish.ps1

Verification

Run python selftest.py. It exercises 198 checks covering:

  • All v0.3.0 verb API (backward compat)
  • The new v0.4.0 expansion (198 checks across all 10 verbs)
  • FileTypeCount() >= 1000 assertion
  • Country-specific IBAN/postal/phone/VAT validators
  • All hash algorithm families (hashlib, HMAC, PBKDF2, CRC, BLAKE2, SHA3)
  • All encoder families (Base-N, ROT, case styles, Morse, compression)
  • All generator families (passwords, UUIDs, tokens, NanoId, ULID, mnemonics)
  • All sanitizer contexts (HTML, SQL, Shell, Path, injection types)
  • AES round-trips in multiple modes (GCM, CBC, CTR, CFB)
