Installation

Install from PyPI when the package is published:

pip install dailydotsnek

(For local development):

pip install -e .

Quickstart

# AutoApiToken reads the DAILY_DEV_KEY env var (via python-dotenv)
token = AutoApiToken()
# or
# token = ManualApiToken("your_api_key_here")

Building the package (locally)

• Build a wheel with hatch (project uses hatchling):

python -m pip install -U hatch
hatch build

• The built artifacts will be in dist/.

Publishing (prepare-only):

This repository has been prepared for PyPI publishing. To publish, configure credentials (see docs/ for instructions) and run a publish command such as:

# With twine
python -m pip install --upgrade build twine
python -m build
python -m twine upload dist/*

# or with hatch
hatch publish # requires hatch and configuration
