Darwin Connect for Python

The official Python entry package for Darwin Connect. It provides explicit constructors for application credentials and linked-user OAuth grants while using the complete Fern-generated darwin-sdk contract.

Connect is not a second API. Applications, linked AIs, ephemeral goals, application wallets, webhooks, and Product resources all share one public contract and base URL.

Install

pip install darwin-connect

Application operations

from darwin_connect import create_application_client

connect = create_application_client(token="YOUR_APPLICATION_TOKEN")
wallet = connect.applications.get_application_wallet(application_id="app_123")

Linked AI operations

from darwin_connect import create_linked_ai_client

darwin = create_linked_ai_client(token=user_access_token)
goals = darwin.goals.list_goals(ai_id="ai_123")

Async constructors are available as create_async_application_client and create_async_linked_ai_client.

Keep application credentials and refresh tokens on your trusted backend. See the Connect documentation for the authorization and funding model.
