Name reservation. This is not a functional release.

Version 0.0.0 contains no implementation — an empty package, this README, and the licence. It exists solely to hold the distribution name data-supply-chain and the import name data_supply_chain while the accompanying preprint is prepared.

The functional release will be 0.1.0.

What this will be

Companion package for the workshop "Building Fairness Into the Data Supply Chain" (AfroTech 2026) — an examination of how a race coefficient in a kidney function equation propagates through a clinical data pipeline into prescribing decisions, using public NHANES 1999-2004 data.

Why the name is reserved early

The import name supplychain was already taken on PyPI by an unrelated 0.0.1 placeholder that ships a top-level supplychain/ package — a genuine file collision, not merely a confusing name. Reserving both names here avoids repeating that for anyone who installs this later.
