Dataset Mapper
A config-driven Dash app created to support KMDS in the dataset bootstrapping workflow. It helps data scientists determine whether a graph or tabular dataset representation is the better fit for a given use case and explains the recommendation with clear rationale.
Dataset bootstrapping is handled by the dd-parser-cleaner cleaner component, while KMDS consumes the resulting representation.
Package setup with uv
cd /home/rajiv/programming/dataset_mapping
uv sync --extra dev
Run locally
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m dataset_mapper
Run tests
uv run pytest
Build a distributable package
uv build
The package includes the default YAML config as package data so it works when installed from PyPI or an editable install.
