dbx-tools-auth

Generated Python bindings for provider-neutral Rust authentication. Rust owns OAuth, persistent stores, locking, and token refresh.

Both provider option records compose the shared AuthOptions record as auth. For example, import AuthOptions from dbx_tools.auth and pass auth=AuthOptions(lock_timeout_seconds=10) to either ProviderOptions or DatabricksAuthOptions. Omission uses Rust's lifecycle defaults. Former flattened timeout and callback-image fields now belong inside auth; see the shared options guide.

Profiles are optional. Scope sets are trimmed, deduplicated, and sorted before selecting a credential. FileLayout.SINGLE and FileLayout.PER_CREDENTIAL select shared-file or per-identity storage. cache_dir overrides the generic file location. StorageAdapter supports custom persistence; create_storage_handle keeps its callbacks in this library when passing the store to either provider's create_*_auth_with_storage factory. Generic providers now accept the handle too, rather than a raw adapter.

Install a published native wheel with pip install dbx-tools-auth. Repository installation is also available with pip install "git+https://github.com/reggie-db/dbx-tools.git@main#subdirectory=packages/py/auth"; source checkouts need the platform library generated by bun run rs:bindings.
