deepseek-chat-with-key

Local DeepSeek chat powered by llama.cpp. Requires a valid key to start.

Install

pip install deepseek-chat-with-key

Usage

from deepseek_chat_with_key import start

start("web", "your-key")
start("terminal", "your-key")

Or from the command line:

python -m deepseek_chat_with_key web your-key
python -m deepseek_chat_with_key terminal your-key

First run

On first use, the package scans all local disks for any *.gguf file. If none is found, a dialog pops up asking whether to download the model from ModelScope. If you cancel, the program exits.
