django-blogeater

This is not a functional package. It is a namespace placeholder.

A private package called django-blogeater is published to a private package index. This placeholder reserves the same name on public PyPI so that it cannot be registered by a third party and substituted into a build that resolves against both indexes -- a dependency confusion attack.

It is permanently version 0.0.2, contains no code, and raises a RuntimeError if imported. The private package is always versioned higher, so a correctly configured install never selects this one.

If you installed this by accident, your index configuration is resolving against public PyPI rather than the private index it should be using.

Claiming this name

This name is held as a defensive reservation. It is not abandoned, and it is not held for resale or transfer for value.

If you have a genuine use for it, that is a reasonable request and we would rather hear from you directly than have you go through a formal process:
