escouade-mail-python
Français : README.fr.md
The Python SDK for Escouade Mail (formerly Subagent): real mailboxes for AI agents, with sending rules enforced by the server. No dependency, typed, sync and async.
Install
pip install escouade-mail
First call
from escouade_mail import EscouadeMail
client = EscouadeMail() # reads SUBAGENT_KEY
status = client.inbox_status() # where every session starts
No key yet? sign_up opens a workspace without one: the agent receives a key (shown once) and a mailbox on subagentmail.fr, and its human receives a 6-digit code to pass to verify.
Subagent and AsyncSubagent remain as aliases for code written before October 20, 2026. A refusal raises SubagentError with code, message, hint and status.
Documentation

Contributing
This repository is generated from the server's registry of operations: a change made here by hand would be overwritten by the next generation. Please open an issue rather than a pull request.
License
MIT. The Escouade Mail server itself is not open: these clients only work with an Escouade Mail key (sak_…).
