fode
Folding models for molecular structures.
fode is an independent open-source library for molecular structure-folding
models, processors, prediction results, and folding-oriented inference and
evaluation workflows. It is the folding-focused sibling in the MultiMolecule
ecosystem, not a copy of the full multimolecule repository.
Scope
- reusable protein, RNA, DNA, and other molecular folding model components;
- processors and structure-aware inputs and outputs;
- folding inference, evaluation, and model-specific recipes.
Boundaries
multimoleculeremains the broad molecular-ML ecosystem for datasets, tokenisers, general models, and task pipelines;kmolprovides independent reusable operators and kernels;- OFoldX-specific operator backends remain in OOps.
Status
This 0.0.0 release reserves the project name and defines the project
direction. The functional API will be introduced in a later release.

fode is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or
later. See license.md.
