fonderie
Fonderie: Toolkit for crafting the next generation of integrated circuits.
What is Fonderie?
Fonderie is a toolkit designed to simplify chip design. It will include high-performance simulators (e.g., FDTD) for photonic chips and aims to provide interfaces to open-source tools used in electronic chip design. An important objective is to offer tools that are scalable—from a simple laptop (Linux or macOS) to high-performance computing (HPC) servers.
The long-term goal is to enable coupled electro-optical simulations, including signal modeling and thermal interactions.
Although this is not yet the case, the long-term vision is to evolve this repository into a monorepo integrating multiple tools, tailored to the needs of different engineers.
