Your key is saved to ~/.forgegrit/config.json, readable only by you.

Inside chat: /model ID, /system TEXT, /clear, /resume [N], /forget [N], /commands on|off, /help, /exit.

The model can run commands

In chat, the model can run shell commands on your machine, as you, in the folder you started it from. You approve every command first: y runs it, n skips it, a approves the rest of the session. sudo, su and doas are always refused. Turn it off with forgegrit chat --no-commands or /commands off.

Saved conversations

Every chat is saved to ~/.forgegrit/sessions/, readable only by you. Use /resume (or forgegrit chat -r) to pick one up, and /forget (or forgegrit sessions --forget N) to delete one.

Note

Chats sent through ForgeGrit are logged by the server with your account, the time, your IP address, the model, your messages and the reply.
