ftdcli 0.2.6

A very simple todo manager. Just a command-line interface that maintains a list containing todo items and respective status information. It uses fuzzy matching to interpret hastily-typed inputs (somewhat) correctly. It is Markdown-compatible so that you can switch your todo list to another Markdown-compatible tool at any time.

Installation

ftd is available through the Python package index.

pipx install ftdcli

If you need to use another Python installation for ftd, run

pipx install ftdcli --python=/path/to/custom/installation/bin/python3 # replace path accordingly

Usage

$ ftd --help

ftd command line utility for note taking and todo management

positional arguments:
  {td,todo,new,create,ex,exp,export,wt,wait,waiting,dn,done,ud,undo,undone,cl,clean,clear,ls,list}
                        available subcommands
    td (todo, new, create)
                        create a todo item
    ex (exp, export)    export todo list to markdown (outputs to stdout)
    wt (wait, waiting)  mark a todo item as waiting
    dn (done)           mark a todo item as done
    ud (undo, undone)   reset existing todo item to todo
    cl (clean, clear)   archive done items
    ls (list)           list current items

options:
  -h, --help            show this help message and exit
  -v, --verbose         increase verbosity (-v for INFO, -vv for DEBUG)
