gh-search-cli
Search GitHub from the command line.
Distributed on PyPI as gh-search-cli; the installed command is
github-search. The names differ because both github-search-cli and
github-search were already claimed on PyPI by unrelated projects, and
gh-search is an existing package that ships a gh-search binary.
Install
uv tool install gh-search-cli
Usage
github-search --help
The command tree is self-documenting — run --help on any subcommand rather
than trusting a copy of it here.
Development
See AGENTS.md for repo conventions. In short: uv sync to install,
uv run pytest to test, trunk check to lint.
