GATEKEEPER

GATEKEEPER is a local browser-backed AI gateway that allows applications to communicate with ChatGPT through an authenticated Chrome session.

It exposes a simple local API that can be used by other applications and services.

Python Client

Install the client:

pip install gptkeeper

Use it from Python:

from gatekeeper import ask

response = ask("Hello from Python!")

print(response)

Local API

The default GATEKEEPER API runs at:

http://127.0.0.1:8000

Health check:

GET /health

Chat endpoint:

POST /v1/chat/completions

Status

GATEKEEPER is currently in early development.

The current focus is building a reliable local bridge between applications, the GATEKEEPER API, and an authenticated ChatGPT browser session.
