grpcio-fips

This fork of gRPC is not the same as https://pypi.org/project/grpcio. This package is intended as a FIPS-compliant communication layer between Alteryx Designer and the Alteryx Platform SDK.

Differences

This fork differs from the original gRPC in the following ways:

changes to the build and packaging process, to build with FIPS-compliant OpenSSL and cryptography DLLs
Those DLLs are expected to be on the user’s machine (as part of an Alteryx Designer installation)

Installation

gRPC FIPS Python is available for Windows.

Installing From PyPI

If you are installing locally on Windows…

$ pip install grpcio-fips
