hi, the terminal-native AI chip debugger

hi is a terminal application (TUI + CLI) for debugging and verifying RTL with waveforms and an embedded AI agent, built for the way verification engineers already work: vim + tmux + SSH into a compute farm. It reads VCD, FST, and GHW waveforms (FSDB via your EDA installation).

Land at the failure: hi triage seeds the time, signals, and clock from the failing log.
Debug as a grammar: jump to an edge, to whoever drove it, to the first cycle where a fixed run diverges from the broken one.
Every claim, human's or agent's, is a receipted, re-executable query anchored to a cycle, a signal, a log line, and a source line.

Install

pip install hardwareintelligence

This installs the hi binary.
