rectifier review
Review the changes in a git checkout with rectifier, imbik's code review agent.
Go to your rectifier dashboard to view internal documentation on how to set up rectifier, with instructions on how to use it locally or with Claude Code.
Install
uv tool install imbik-rectifier # or: pipx install imbik-rectifier
It needs Python 3.10 or later and git, and nothing else.
Use
Make a token on your rectifier dashboard's CLI tokens page. Then, in any checkout of a repository connected to rectifier:
export RECTIFIER_CLI_TOKEN=rct_...
rectifier review # the branch, against where it left the default branch
rectifier review --last 3 # the last 3 commits
rectifier review abc123 # one commit
rectifier review --uncommitted # the uncommitted changes
rectifier review --post # and post it on the branch's open pull or merge request
The report goes to stdout, and a copy will be saved locally to .rectifier/reviews/ in your checkout. Use
rectifier review --help for more info in addition to the Docs page in your dashboard.
If you run the same command on the same commits within an hour of a review's end, it shows that review and says that
no new review ran. Add --force to run a new one.
Upgrade
uv tool upgrade imbik-rectifier # or: pipx upgrade imbik-rectifier
