inkmark

Toolkit to automatically generate various variants of branding assets from an Inkscape source.

Unlike other solutions (e.g. https://github.com/fabriziosalmi/brandkit), this is not a complete application used to generate "all" required logo variants. Instead it's a python library providing useful primitives to build your own custom-tailored brand asset generation pipeline in the form of a short script.

The idea is: Design or modify your logo once and automatically generate/update all the derived assets you need with a single command. No need to think about which assets and what configuration you need each time.

Features

Since I created this for my own needs, it currently mainly contains functionality that I need. If you have ideas for more features, feel free to drop a PR.

The name

inkmark is a playful combination of "Inkscape" and "Marke", which means brand in german.
