irl-besty is a sleek, highly-aesthetic terminal tool that scrambles any text file into an impenetrable wall of emojis. Built on a pseudo-random number generator seeded with your password, it shifts ASCII bytes into the Unicode Emoji block, making it mathematically impossible to decode without the exact key.

📦 Installation

pip install irl-besty

🎮 Usage

Once installed, simply run the tool from anywhere in your terminal:

besty

The interactive module will launch, asking you if you want to encode or decode, which file to target, and what password to use for the encryption engine.

Rollback / old versions

If you want an older Besty release, the easy way is the Moai rollback command:

# See available versions
pip index versions irl-besty

# Roll back to a specific version
pip install --upgrade irl-besty==2.0.5

# Example: return to the previous stable release
pip install --upgrade irl-besty==2.0.4

Moai note: old versions still use the same besty command. Close any open besty terminal before upgrading or rolling back on Windows.
