isd-fetch

isd-fetch is a Python package for efficiently accessing and processing NOAA's ISD Lite dataset. The project is distributed as isd-fetch and imported as pyisd.

It supports:

• browsing NOAA station metadata as a GeoDataFrame
• filtering by country, geometry, or a specific station_id
• returning results organized either by station or by weather field

Installation

pip install isd-fetch
