IUCN Red List of Threatened Species API - Python Client
iucn-redlist-api is a simple, easy-to-use Python client for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species API.
The IUCN Red List is a comprehensive global source of information on the extinction risk status of animals and animal biodiversity.
The latest version of the API is v4, and the reference is published here. Using the API requires an API key that can be obtained by registering on the API portal.

The Python package is currently at v0.2.0.
[!Note] This project is not officially associated with the IUCN in any way, but the client implementation faithfully follows the published API reference, and will be maintained in accordance with any changes in the API. Contributors and contributions are welcome.
