Getting Started
Installation
-
Install
.. code-block:: bash
pip install juham-systemstatus
-
Configure
To adjust update interval and other attributes
edit SystemStatus.json configuration file.
If fatal error (e.g. thread crash) is detected the system announces reboot at midnight.
If your service runs under systemd, likely as a non-root user . systemctl reboot normally fails there with “interactive authentication required”. The simplest fix is a sudoers rule for that one command, added to /etc/sudoers.d/-reboot:
ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/shutdown -r now
Check the real path with which shutdown on the system. If the service already runs as root, drop sudo -n.
