jupyter-jitters
Your notebook gets a nervous monkey who waits on your cells with you. Jitters the VibeCoder shows up under a cell: sweating when it raised, groggy when it ran past a minute, terrible at the first cell after midnight.
pip install jupyter-jitters
Then, in any Jupyter notebook or IPython session:
%load_ext jitters
In a notebook he is a small picture under the cell; in a terminal, a face:
.-"""-. ; ;
.-. / .---. \ .-.
( (_| O O |_) )
'-.| v |.-'
\ ~~~ /
'-.___.-'
Jitters: sweating. That cell raised. He is sweating.
See him drawn: https://vibeoverflow.lol/week?m=wired&src=ipynb
The rules, first that holds
- the cell raised: sweating
- the first cell after midnight (until 5 am): terrible, once a night
- the cell ran 60 seconds or more: groggy, with the minutes
A quick clean cell: nothing. At most one reaction every 10 minutes, so he never nags.
What it reads
Only whether a cell raised, how long it ran and your local hour. No network call, no file, no telemetry, no dependency but IPython. The one link carries the mood word, nothing else.
Off
%unload_ext jitters.
Him, on your desk
His night as stickers and a mug: the shop. At the end of your test runs: pytest-jitters.
