kestrel_pi
The Phase 3 plugin host for kestrel: a small daemon
(kestrel-daemon) that loads plugins, dispatches the legacy-compatible
on_* hooks off its event loop, sources events from the Phase 1 connectivity
and the Phase 2 capture store, and serves an embedded Flask status page on the
management link.
This package is installed into the pi user's virtualenv (/home/pi/.venv) by
the image build. The reference plugins ship separately under
/usr/local/lib/kestrel/plugins/ and operator plugins live in
/etc/kestrel/plugins/.
See docs/developer/plugin-development.md in the repository for the design, and
the Plugin base class in kestrel_pi/plugins.py for the API.
Run the tests with pytest from this directory (pytest is already in the venv).
