kubectl-cli-bin

The Kubernetes command-line tool (kubectl), repackaged as a Python wheel so it can be installed by pip, uv, or any other Python packaging tool.

uv tool install kubectl-cli-bin           # standalone, on PATH
uv add kubectl-cli-bin                    # as a project dev dependency
uvx --from kubectl-cli-bin kubectl --help # one-off

The wheel ships the official, unmodified kubectl binary published by the Kubernetes project at dl.k8s.io, verified against the release's SHA256SUMS manifest at build time. This wheel version tracks the upstream kubectl version: kubectl-cli-bin==1.36.3 gives you kubectl v1.36.3.

This project is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Kubernetes project or the Cloud Native Computing Foundation.
