Python library for automatic tasks in historical linguistics
Project description
LingPy is a Python library for quantitative task in historical linguistics. It offers basic classes and functions for handling wordlists, carrying out alignment analyses, and searching for cognates in multilingual wordlists. The new release which is still in a development stage has completely switched to Python3. The older Python2-version will no longer be maintained.
