live
Live stream command line output. Inspect long processes from agent workflows.
File based persistence stored in ~/.live. There are no long running daemons.
Large logs auto-rotate. Old sessions are cleaned opportunistically.
Requires Python 3.10+. Zero dependencies.
Install
pipx install live-cmd
# or
uv tool install live-cmd

live update-shell

Usage
Record any command:
live run -n server npm start
Inspect from another process:
live cat server
live tail -f server
live less server
Manage session recordings:
live ls
live rm server
Config
~/.live/config.json, auto-created.
