Getting started
mkdir my-solution && cd my-solution
uvx --from longlink longlink init
init prompts for a folder; press Enter to use the current directory. Use --folder my-solution to create a new directory, or --folder . to target the current one without a prompt. Existing files are preserved; initialization stops if a scaffold file would conflict.

Development
make sdk
This builds the SDK web bundle, initializes sdk/dev when absent, links the project
to the local SDK source, and starts its development service. Existing local edits are
preserved.
Requirements: Python 3.12 or newer,
uv, and Docker if you want to build an image. SeeCONTRIBUTING.mdfor more details.
Testing
uv sync --group dev
uv run pytest --cov --cov-report=term-missing
Database TLS
Production PostgreSQL connections require LONGLINK_DATABASE_CERTIFICATE containing a PEM CA certificate. The SDK verifies both the server certificate chain and hostname. Development and testing continue to use SQLite and ignore PostgreSQL settings.
