maigp-openai-agents

AIGP governance for the OpenAI Agents SDK, at the agent-loop level.

Part of MAIGP — the Mediated AI Governance Protocol: a runtime consent / scope / evidence layer for AI systems. Every governed call is CHECKed before it runs (policy, scope, jurisdiction, circuit-breaker) and RECORDed + TRACEd as tamper-evident evidence after.

What it governs

Governs the OpenAI Agents SDK agent loop — Runner.run(agent, input), tools, and handoffs.

Governance model

This adapter maps the framework's lifecycle onto the AIGP agent-governance loop provided by maigp-agent-core:

Install

pip install maigp-openai-agents

Pulls in maigp-agent-core (shared lifecycle) and, transitively, maigp-client.

Not to be confused with maigp-openai

This package governs the Agents SDK agent loop. For raw openai.chat.completions calls, use maigp-openai instead. The Runner is injected (duck-typed) so no specific SDK version is required.
