Mally

Autonomous coding agent powered by Claude Opus 4.5

Zero-config AI assistant that helps you write, debug, and understand code. Just install and run - no API keys needed!

Quick Start

macOS/Linux:

curl -fsSL https://mally-api.otonomy.ai/install.sh | bash

Windows (PowerShell):

irm https://mally-api.otonomy.ai/install.ps1 | iex

Or with pip:

pip install mally

Then just run:

mally

That's it! Start chatting with your AI coding assistant.

Usage

# Start interactive mode
mally

# Start with a task
mally "help me build a REST API"

# Resume last session
mally --continue

Commands

Inside Mally, you can:

Type your request naturally
Press Enter twice to send (or Esc then Enter)
Type done or press Ctrl+C to exit
Use --help for more options

Examples

You: Create a Python function to calculate fibonacci numbers

You: Find all TODO comments in this project

You: Explain how the authentication works in this codebase

You: Write tests for the user service

Requirements

Python 3.9+
macOS, Linux, or Windows

Optional Features

# Browser automation
pip install mally-cli[browser]

# Desktop control (screenshots, clicks)
pip install mally-cli[desktop]

# Everything
pip install mally-cli[all]

Advanced: Using Your Own Keys

By default, Mally uses the Otonomy proxy. For your own API keys:

export USE_DIRECT_API=true
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=sk-ant-...
export KIMI_API_KEY=sk-...
