Meadow Authoring
Meadow Authoring provides a browser interface for writing, checking, and running Meadow workflows. The distribution includes Meadow Runtime and Meadow Bridge.
Use Python 3.13.3 with Node 24 or later and npm available on macOS or Windows.
python -m pip install meadow-authoring
meadow-authoring
Open http://127.0.0.1:8000. Use --host and --port to change the listening
address. Initial startup installs the locked npm dependencies, including the
Wasm compiler. Every startup regenerates and builds the application.
Workflow execution needs Git and the tools and credentials for the selected provider. The Bridge provider uses a compatible Copilot language server and Copilot authentication. OpenCode execution requires OpenCode; container execution requires Podman and a compatible image. Those tools, images, and credentials are not included in this distribution.
Install into a dedicated Python environment; do not install separate
meadow-runtime or meadow-bridge distributions alongside this bundle.
Initial setup and application version changes write fresh application defaults.
Edits to those defaults are preserved between ordinary launches, but are replaced
on a version change. Workflow repositories and run evidence are retained.
