MiniMindsLab Record Integer Summary
minimindslab-record-integer-summary is a tiny, offline utility library for summarizing one named integer field across a list of records.
Features
- Computes deterministic integer statistics for a selected field:
countsumminmax
- Treats absent,
null(None), and empty-string values as missing. - Ignores booleans and non-integer values for numeric statistics.
- Optionally reports
missing_countandnon_integer_count. - Stable output for empty record lists.
Installation
This package is standard-library-only and supports Python 3.11+.
Usage
from minimindslab_record_integer_summary import summarize_integer_field
records = [
{"value": 10},
{"value": 5},
{"value": None},
{"value": "7"},
{"other": 9},
{"value": True},
]
result = summarize_integer_field(records, "value", include_skipped_counts=True)
print(result)
