nlalpha-talib

nlalpha-talib adapts TA-Lib indicators to the NLAlpha capability provider contract. It is discovered through the nlalpha.capabilities entry point indicator = nlalpha_talib:TalibPlugin; it is not a standalone MCP server.

The stable provider ID is talib, classified under indicator. The plugin caches its provider instance. If TA-Lib is absent, the installed plugin keeps the same provider ID but reports unavailable with reason TA-Lib not installed; the capability directory omits it from available providers and diagnose_providers() reports the reason. Direct provider calls do not use a fallback and fail when TA-Lib is unavailable.

Install the package and its declared TA-Lib dependency with:

python -m pip install nlalpha-talib

After installation, inspect list_capability_providers() for the active manifest and list_capabilities_by_domain("trend") or another returned helper domain for callable declarations. Helper domain values describe each helper; category separately identifies functions and properties.

Capability descriptions

Provider confess output is assembled from its discovered manifest, methods, helper entries, and any declared optional guidance. Missing optional provider dependencies remain a provider diagnostic; they do not create substitute helpers. The helper directory exposes only available registered helpers.
