Nyx RaccoonBot

Native Linux autonomous trading service. Docker and image publishing are not required.

Install from PyPI

python3 -m pip install --upgrade nyx-raccoonbot
rb setup --dir ~/.raccoonbot
nano ~/.raccoonbot/.env
rb --dir ~/.raccoonbot start
rb --dir ~/.raccoonbot status

Useful lifecycle commands are rb stop, rb restart, rb logs --follow, and rb update. Runtime state is kept in the hidden .state directory; systemd deployments use journald.

Install from a checkout

python3 installer.py

The installer automatically detects the checkout, chooses /opt/nyx-raccoonbot for root or ~/.raccoonbot for a regular user, and enables systemd when permitted.

Python 3.11 or newer is required. Configure exchange and LLM credentials in .env. The source checkout installer also installs the pinned tradingagents Git dependency from requirements.txt; PyPI metadata cannot contain direct URL dependencies.
